Ewa specializes in time-use research and complex statistical analyses. She has over 10 years of experience in quantitative research. In 2013-2014 she was a Fulbright Fellow at the Time Use Lab, University of Maryland, USA. In 2014-2019 she worked as a Research Fellow in the Centre for Time Use Research at the University of Oxford, UK. Ewa received her PhD in 2015 from the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 2019 she was awarded Marie Skladowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowship, which is one of Europe’s most prestigious and competitive awards. She is affiliated with the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences and is an Associated Researcher in the Laboratory for Comparative Social Research at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia. Her research interests include time- use, health and wellbeing, and social inequality.

Aleksandra Szczebiot, BA
Research Assistant
Aleksandra received her BA from the Department of Public Health of the Medical University of Warsaw. She is currently pursuing her master studies in Bioethics in the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Warsaw as well as studying Global Studies and International Development at the Roskilde University in Denmark. Throughout her studies she has been actively involved in the activities of the European Medical Student Association. Since 2019 she has also been serving as the vice-president of the Students’ Association on Bioethics at the University of Warsaw. Her main research interests include inequalities in access to healthcare, social exclusion and bioethical issues as related to procreation and the end-of-life ethics. In her leisure time Aleksandra volunteers in the Warsaw Marathon foundation and serves as a team leader for related events organized in Warsaw.
